a lake for enjoying all the fun of water, surrounded by the vercors. located near the village of saint-romans in the french department of isère, half way between grenoble and valence, the flower lac du marandan** campsite lies in 55 acres of beautiful wooded countryside. 200 m above sea level, it also offers wonderful views of the nearby vercors natural park.

in our tree-filled, 22 hectare estate, the view over the vercors is a privilege to behold, shared by children, parents, bathers, campers and fishers alike. the excellent water quality and the fine sandy beach make this huge lake a paradise for games, relaxation and swimming, under lifeguard supervision in july and august. muscle warming exercices on the edge of the waters, kids' club in the mornings, sports events in the afternoons, canoeing... and every day, the vercors nature reserve and its many nature activities, canyoning, hiking, biking and climbing.

a stone's throw away, you will discover the spectacular houses hanging over the water in pont-en-royans, the delicious little round cheese of saint marcellin, the racioli of romans and walnut brandy of grenoble.
